Instructional Calendars are district-wide common timelines for pacing the instruction, review, assessment, and maintenance of individual indicators (subskills) of the Indiana Academic Standards. Warren Township uses Instructional Calendars in Kindergarten through grade 8 in reading/language arts, math, and science.

Assessment of the standards is completed in three-week periods. Warren teachers review the assessment results with their principals every three weeks to provide remediation or enrichment based on the data. |
The Indiana Department of Education requires all schools to have a closure plan in place in the event of a non-weather related closing. Should it become necessary to close Stonybrook Middle School, relevant academic lessons based upon Indiana state standards will be made available to all students. These lessons will be directly related to concepts that will be covered on the annual ISTEP tests in the spring. By providing these lessons, students will remain engaged in relevant school work while at home, giving them the opportunity to continue their education and enhance their learning until the school reopens. In the event of a closure, lessons will be posted on Blackboard Learn.
